Road bike, gravel or mountain bike, BMX, track bike, cargo bike or e-bike - we develop products for all common types of bikes. We follow three principles:

1. Universality, whenever possible.
As far as possible, our chains are universally applicable. The X-series, for example, is ideally suited for derailleur gears on all types of bikes. This means that the ambitious road cyclist will be just as happy as a mountain bike enthusiast. And we always strive to develop universal solutions to meet the system requirements of all major manufacturers with one series.

2. Specialisation whenever it is absolutely necessary.
The rapid development of the e-bike segment has led to new requirements for drive components. Our answer to this is unique chains such as the e101EPT or the eCargo1, which are able to withstand the extreme forces on motorised drives thanks to their specific design.

3. Reasonable expansion of the product portfolio.
In order to offer users an alternative to the products of the large component manufacturers, we are expanding our range step by step. The latest addition to the KMC product family are cassettes that are perfectly matched to KMC chains but at the same time fully compatible with Shimano HG products.

Extremely durable.

At KMC product quality is our foremost priority. The many field tests we have conducted clearly show that KMC chains last much longer than comparable chains from competing brands. The high level of confidence in our products is expressed in our unique durability warranty, which applies to many of our products . This durability bond includes all DLC, e-Bike, XSL, XEL and X101 chains, but of course also our tools, chainrings and sprockets.

Responsibility

KMC is constantly striving to manufacture the best possible quality products with minimal environmental impact. On top of meeting European standards, KMC is the first and only chain manufacturer to measure their carbon footprint. In order to reduce emissions, energy intensive processes constantly undergo optimization.

But it‘s not just about the environment - it‘s also about the people we care about. That‘s why we were extremely excited when we first heard about Justdiggit.
